yea, I’ve been meaning to do somethin like these for years!
ever since i was a little one and had a book called the kingdom under the sea and the illustrations in it were beautiful silhouette pics on marble effect backgrounds….
anyways, just recently found out (the other day i finally looked it up, funny i’d never thought of googling it before lol) who that artist is and anywayz, their name is jan Pienkowski, he is the artist of the meg and mog books also (do you remember those?)
he is a fab artist! so anyway (lol i’ll get to the point eventually) that was the inspiration for these pieces!
