My mum used to do hobby-text pictures on black velvet when I was a child, (she’s an awesome artist, my mum)
And this soo reminds me of those! And I’ve been trippin on it all morning not being able to put my finger on it, what it ‘felt’ like, so THANKYOU for that! You’ve given me back a memory! :)

I wanted to put it on a tee “star slither one”, and thought how I’d prefer it if the whole snake was visible so as not to get that square effect on the tshirt design… so i added the rest and kept going… was very happy with how it turned out! I think I like it better than my original one!

I used to think i was quite bad with colour, all my art was straight pen or pencil for years, but now i’m in a more colourful part of my life, it seems so natural to add colour to everything!
