Star Slither
Originally an oil painting that has only had the bottom layers painted on without much detail, it is 100cm x 100cm, and it hasnt progressed in some time…
it was really frustrating me and i became really unmotivated to finish it
so i took a pic of it and finished it in photoshop! :)
The painting will one day be completed, i have so many paintings in progress, so not sure when i will be finishing it..
Photoshop details – lots of airbrushing and burning (all with my trusty mouse, oh how i wish i owned a wacom tablet :)),
ooh and i love those little stars!

oh, the title, I’ll have to let my man know, he’ll be happy!
I couldnt think of a title (another all nighter with the bubba, brains asleep), so I asked him what he would name it and thats what he said.
Usually i dont like the names he comes up with for my art, as he has a wacky sense of humour and his names for things, while they’re funny, quite often have nothing to do with the ‘feeling’ i’m trying to create with the piece.., so he was rapt that i actually went with his choice.

This is cool! I like that it’s not finished in the physical sense, because you can make it look different and put it up when your finished and have a whole new piece. Good work!

Excellent work! Yeah painting takes so long to do sometimes u really get sick of it and oils are difficult to use. But u’ve done really well with this, I really like the way u’ve blended the colours together!

I started the painting when I was pregnant and well, have been distracted just abit since then lol! :)
I actually painted with oils for years until recently so all my painting skills are tuned for oils, with my daughter being around now tho, i feel its unsafe to continue to work with the oils so I’ve turned to acrylic, which is sooo different, I’ve had to reteach myself how to paint again lol…

You should not refrain from adding stars..
This serpent is perfect with the stars..
And when the works remain there waiting for you to finished… they are wishing something speicial..+and may be they are wishing just to accept them as they are…
