Garden Spiders are a familiar sight in English gardens. The abdomen has a row of white dots down the centre and transverse white streaks forming a distinct cross. This one is in our garden in West Yorkshire.

You caught it so well in a nicely open pose, and such a tiny spider, going by the size of the leaf.
