RIMATARA LORIKEET 4 ( NOT A PHOTOGRAPH OR PHOTOMANIP)by DilettantO
Final of 4 digital paintings created using Corel Painter X for a WWF First Day Cover envelope issue. As with the other 3 designs in this series, this is the unvignetted version.
And they ahave so many colors too they are just little jewels!
We have Rainbow Lorikeets in WA (although they are not supposed to be here!!!)and they really are like flying rainbows….and very noisy ones at that….XHX
Thanks again Trish. BTW I asked the zoologist about that plant in the last pic and he said he thought it was a ‘ginger plant’ but he wasn’t 100% sure. Here’s a WikiLink to it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zingiberaceae
Now painting a ‘Peacock Grouper’ which is a VERY spotty fish! X

Seems like I was probably on the right track!
The Peacock Grouper sounds familiar, look forward to seeing the work.
Thanks Trish,
The grouper will take a while to paint so probably won’t be posted until next week…X
