Not bad for a Western Australian…........lololol
Seriously it is work like yours that raises the bar and we are all grateful.

Thanks heaps! Let’s hope people pick up on my ‘sales pitch’! I’m actually going to buy a few myself, coz I honestly think they will make great gifts. Most people like nice colorful calendars and birds are always popular. I almost put a bird of prey in but decided to stick with the pretty ones for now. I might do a Birds of Prey one later, when I have enough pix.

Thanks again Warren. I’ll certainly be making more calendars. So pleased with the way it worked out. Thanks RB!!! You made it so easy!

The calenders are excellent quality….............I inflicted a few of mine and other RB members last Christmas and they have worked rather well…........tell you the day and everything. ;-)

  • DilettantO replied

I don’t need reminding of the days passing…I just look at the pictures.
Good to hear the quality is good though. I’m amazed it cost us nothing to produce these things. How else could you do this kind of stuff…for free..??? Okay, now shatter all my illusions and tell me I’ve got that all wrong and it’ll cost me shitloads and I shall have to mortgage the house ( which belongs to my partner anyway) to pay the costs of all this stuff…

    No cost…....

......well there is when you buy them from RB but without your personal mark up I believe they are resonably priced. As I said the quality is excellent, great card, good reproduction, spiral binding works great and they are plenty big enough.

  • DilettantO replied

Phew! So the house is safe then… Of course, I expect to pay for the end result, but I still think it’s amazing that there are no ‘up front’ costs. If you say the quality is excellent, that’s good enough for me.
Where has RB been all my life ( or the last 10 years of it anyway?)
I’ll stick an order in and see what rocks up. I keep telling people ‘If these don’t sell, then nothing of mine will’. I have got rather jaded about selling my work online. I have a website of my WWF stuff ( currently having work done on it ) and I have prints on offer there, but over 3 or maybe 4 years I haven’t had a SINGLE enquiry, let alone a sale. Still no sales on RB either, but it’s only been about 4 days, not 4 years so there’s a chance yet…Cheers O

A truly wonderful collection. The birds of prey sounds pretty interesting to me too! Hard to comprehend that you’ve had no sales from your website – that will surely change from now on!

  • DilettantO replied

Thank you! Yeah, I can’t understand why I’ve had no luck on the site either, but as you say, hopefully RB will change all that. Sooooooooo…how many copies are you buying??? LOL

Gorgeous calendar. I love May the most!

  • DilettantO replied

Hi Tamara and thanks again. So, you like May! Yeah those cranes have got some pzazz alright, not unlike yourself! I can see you in a hat like that! How about Sept, which I presume is your birthhday month ( unless you were born on Aug 31). You’re not a ‘goosey’ kinda girl? You might be interested to hear that I put African Greys on Aug because I’m a Leo (17th) plus I used to have one as a pet when I lived in the UK. Very special birds to me.Glad you like the calendar anyway . They make GREAT Xmas presents!!! ( not so subtle hint) X
