Not really. They don’t get version 1 but if I ever do anything aqautic from Polynesia, it will save me doing a background! Also it still stands up as a piece of art in it’s own right, so it will stay on RB, so I might make some money with it after all!

this has a whole different feel to it….the other had a different atmosphere, temperature (and obviously location) but this one feels lighter, more “summery and tropical” (dare I say it, even more joyful) ....... amazing how you can convey such a different energy across two images…
Both are wonderful, just so very different!

It does, doesn’t it? I didn’t realise it would look so different until I chopped off the mountains and added the atoll! Just as well I work digitally. It was easy to do and only took a couple of hours. Had I painted it in trad media…well I don’t even want to think about it…nightmare stuff!!! Anyway, it taught me a lesson and I ended up with something that still works and that people MIGHT buy on RB, so no damage was done, despite the Zoologist opening his mail with ‘Sorry to spoil you weekend..’ which he didn’t at all! X

This one has a “warmer” feeling than the other – probably because of the flatter terrain and the palm trees (IMHO) XX

Yeah, interesting how just a change of bg can change the whole mood of the thing. Wasn’t really expecting that…pleasant surprise…I’ve had a few of those on RB this week!!!
