I recently bought an Epson P6000 storage viewer (http://epson.com.au/products/multimedia/p6000.asp). Since I often go away on trips and don’t always want to bring my laptop (although most time’s I have to) I need larger amounts of storage volume.
So I’ve been looking around at many options; the most obvious was to buy more memory cards. I wasn’t very keen on the idea; more things to lose etc, so I looked towards portable storage viewers.
They’re great, and the model I have has a 80GB HD in it with a 4” screen. Very powerful tools to have whilst away on holidays, or even just a shoot. Far more sot effective then buying up on memory cards (well SanDisk Extreme IV’s anyway) and you get a much better screen than what your camera has too.
So if you’re in a position where you need more memory and are after something more for a little less (or more…) have a look at the portable storage viewers; they’re great!
