“If your images aren’t good enough….you’re not close enough” – Robert Capa.

I’m Daniel.
I live in Melbourne, Australia photographing the events, people and places in and around the city as well as the country.
I am now becoming more and more interested in documentary photography, inspired by James Nachtwey.
There is great inequality in the world and for me the power of photography lies in its ability to evoke a sense of humanity.
A camera is a powerful tool that can be used to be a voice for those who otherwise would not have one.

I enjoy talking to people about photography and helping them out with different techniques and adapting other peoples techniques in to my own style of shooting.
I’m a huge fan of coffee! So if anyone would like to go for a coffee and chat I’d be more than happy to!

Happy shooting!

New Lens Finally Arrived!
Well, it took a few months but it’s FINALLY here! On June 2, I ordered the recently launched Canon TS-E 17mm f4L (tilt-shift lens). It couldn’t have come at a better time either as I am going away in October to the Flinders Ranges. Looking forward to posting a few images up on the bubble and seeing what the worlds’ widest tilt-shift lens can do! / Happy shooting, / Daniel.
