Vanishing Point
Another ‘variation on a theme’ of my Tanager. I know the perspective is ‘wrong’ between the Tanager and that farm fence, but I just couldn’t resist the cool way this was looking, and, I wanted a horizontal version of that other photo that obviously I’ll never ‘live up to’ with anything else I create. I messed up and really ‘raised the bar’ on myself yesterday, and although that’s a great thing, it’s also nearly impossible to ‘top.’ Ah the joys of Photoshop. Excuse my blathering on and on about this..but, it has given rise to a whole host of very cool elements and ideas for my future works…I look at it this way, I can only go forward from here…

Zoe, Great image. Sometimes skewed perspective gives an image that special something as evidenced here.

Keith, thanks for your uncanny ability to always say the right thing…I really appreciate that because I feel this as well, the perspective of the HUGE bird on a tiny fence didn’t hurt the picture any, so I just went with it…thank you….....;-)

Maybe it is time to join PS Anonymous …. lol
Love this bird … he looks good anywhere. This is a nice perspective … even a bit skewed. Life is a bit skewed sometimes so I think this is perfect! You will surpass that lovely pic from yesterday, Zoe. I imagine you will continue to reach new heights even though you so not think it is possible now. I am just waiting for the “I told you so”....

Beautiful work Zoe. It doesn’t matter about perspective with this type of work.
