The Mourning Warbler (Oporornis philadelphia) is a long-bodied and short-tailed warbler. This male was photographed in Ottawa, ON Canada. Mourning Warblers are summer residents with a call that is a dry, flat and somewhat husky “pwich” . Their song on the other hand, is quite rythmic “Churree churree churree turi turi turi.”
