The Unsure Juvie American Robin by

I came across this Juvenile American Robin (Turdus migratorius) who was seemingly unsure of what to do with this caterpillar that was wrapping itself around it’s the beak. After a short comical while the juvenile began to vigorously slam its beak repeatedly on the ground. Once he was satisfied that the caterpillar was no longer alive, he/she then swallowed it whole.
