This photo demonstrates the feathered beauty of a female Northern Pintail. This photo was taken in a pond, an unusual sighting for the Pintail. This one was quite content to remain in the pond for several weeks, eventually joined by two others. The photo was taken in Andrew Haydon Park, in Ottawa Ontario (Canada)
