If you check my work I too am a close crop photographer when it comes to animals and wildlife. Excellent shot!!
DigitallyStill replied 24 days ago
Yes indded, I have checked your lovely work as well. On occasion, a close/tight crop works, but I find it works most well on soft subjects and sometimes, some rather small subjects as well. Thank you so much for your kind compliments Scott, they truly mean a lot to me.

Incredibly cute shot Francine!

;) This is one of several photos that I took that day. Including my avatar. Much to my shock and surprise, there were only two adult Canada Geese with 30 goslings. Our local bird columnist for the Ottawa Citizen – Elizabeth Le Geyt shed some light on this for me. It is not unusual to find so many goslings together. She explained that goslings will stick to and with, other goslings and that there parents will nurture all goslings, even when they are not their own. They are very “family oriented” and dedicated parents. After the “attack butterfly” scenario these little guys were exhausted. For more info on Attack Butterfly see my: Avatar photo ;) Thank you very much Ronaldo.
