My name is John Heil.
I am the primary photographer and owner of Adventures In Digital.
My style is simply that, my style. I’m constantly looking for new ways to bring a fresh and interesting perspective to the everyday norms of our world.
Photography is in my bones. Taking photos has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It started when I was child when I would steal my grandmother’s camera and run off taking photos of whatever I found interesting. It grew into a hobby but my passion for it quickly surpassed any modest hobby form and it has become a very large part of my life. I look forward to putting time aside daily to work on my photography and post processing skills and am always looking for new techniques to learn. I consider myself an advanced amateur and am interested in many types of photographic art and design.
Most of my experience comes in street and landscape photography, but my interests are not limited to those and I’ve experimented in several areas. I love shooting architecture, urban street life, water & landscapes, animals, product, people, weddings….you name it. I believe that such diversity in my work keeps my skills sharp and passion high.
I shoot with a Canon 40D DSLR and have a variety of lenses and toys that help me achieve great images. I hope you will enjoy what I have to offer and I am always open to your comments and critiques.
