I found these Painters in a road-side zoo in New Castle, Pa. The Sun was shining so bright they were “rubber-necking”. Shot this a couple years ago with a Nikon D5000 18-55 mm. No enhancements. Thank you for looking!

I am Simon! Thank you so much Di! They really are pretty, I used to mine for them. Problem was, they live with snappiing turtles, you never knew what was gonna bite you! lol
Wow! What a fantastic capture! They’re adorable:)
Thank you so much Dawn, I had to throw rocks up in the air to get them to pose for me! LOL,
Great Capture Donnie. I think Simon is the guy on the End and he said quick there is a fly in here LOOK up. LOL They are really cute… Hope your Spring is coming out….Bingo!!
Thank you Bingo!! Your theory is cute! LOL! I hope they each got a fly, that’s a bigger dinner than what I got! hahaha
I would like to report a three turtle pile up…lol This is a super shot. I think they were lifting their heads so you would get their “good side” in the shot. They seem to be posing for you! Very cool~ Peechez
Aaaa, mission control, we have a 3 turtle pile-up and they look hungry! They seem to love peaches!!!! LOL But don’t we all?
aaahhh!! there you go, but of course Simon!!
So funny DI! I said “look down” but they got me on that one! LOL
I love these little guys!!! Great shot, my luck they would’ve all scattered!
There attention seemed to be on something else, probably a damsel turtle in a bikini! LOL Thank you Viv :)
