Caught this beautiful Whitetail buck in the field behind the house on the farm 40 kms southeast of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada – before the great escape as they have all but disappeared in reaction to hunting season!
This one is particularly exciting for me as this is the first image that I have been able to upload in over 2 months…on my new laptop – a Christmas gift from my family and so I am on cloud nine! Hope you enjoy this one as I break this one in and re-enter RB for the first time in a long time!

I never moved a muscle but clicked away and they seemed to just stay and watch me without moving much! It’s so good to be back!!

oh Blair … I’ve just got to tell you .. this is truly a perfect image … belongs on the cover of Field and Stream. What exquisite detail and rich color … did you get a new camera?????
