Ahhhhhh, Blair….I love this shot!!! I have always wanted to visit Banff!!! In fact, it’s on our “short list” of places we have to visit in our lifetime!!! The only problem is that our “short list” is a mile-and-a-half long!!!!!! So many beautiful places and so little time, money, and vacation days to take!!!!! For now, I’ll just soak in the beauty that you have portrayed so beautifully here!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!

Beautiful layers in the twilight. The lines of highway leads the eye into the Rockies, visually here, and empty of traffic, adds to the sense of peace. Elegant!

Hi Blair – Just look at all the attention this photo has been getting!!!! WowWowWow!!!! Of course, it completley deserves it, as it is just gorgeous!!
Bill & I were planning to take a trip up to Vancouver the 1st of June for about 4 days, but his mom got scheduled, unexpectedly for open heart surgery tomorrow & now I’m not sure what we’ll be doing. i know exactly where this image was taken,
i can remember what was happening in the car each time we drove down this spot – i can hear the song on the radio and see the kids laughing…
more than that, i can smell the beautiful banff air, feel the smooth crystal clear water of the glacier lakes and see the puffs of air coming from the breath of elk roaming free…
