Green Pastures
Caught this elk grazing along the road up to the campsite at Takkakaw Falls in Yoho National Park, B.C. It was a competition on whether we were going to get this photo shoot or get rained on. We opted for the photo shoot and got rained on!

With wildlife it´s always a question of…have I gotten close enough? I found the maximum range of my telephoto and started working with that. Unfortunately, it was rather dull and cloudy so it took some editing to get it clearer. Glad you enjoyed this shot.

Thanks. I got as close as I could and used the telephoto to bring him a bit closer but with these guys you never know. I first of measured the distance to the car before venturing towards him.
