This photo taken of my adopted son and I on top of the world, Sulfur mountain – Banff, Alberta, on his first trip to Canada.

My interest in photography has grown over the years. My first SLR was a Yashica 35 mm camera. A little over 2 years ago, I entered the digital photography arena with a simple P & S Sony DSC – S90, then moved up a year later to a DSC – H5. My next move will soon be to a DSLR…still looking and evaluating the options available.

My interests are in capturing landscape and nature, particularly flora and fauna. However, my interest is growing in the area of artistic interpretation and am interested in learning more about the use of editing software to enhance the creative expression of phtography.
