Photo of a model of the famous clipper ship “Cutty Sark”. Presented as in port at anchor in a cool environment. The model is from Billing Boats and is a work-in-progress. This all-timber model has taken hours of attention to detail. The original copper plating on the outside of the hull from waterline down was recreated by using actual very thin copper sheeting cut to scale sections. The rigging plan is as on the original and can be adjusted. The model is not mine…(I don’t think I’d have the patience)…but the photgraphy and post in CS5…is;…I hope I have done it justice.
