Marland Mansion Estate by

This is the Marland Mansion Estate in Ponca City, Oklahoma. E.W. Marland was an oil tycoon. He came to Oklahoma in 1908 to drill for oil and struck it rich. He is the founder of Conoco-Phillips. This estate took 3 years to build and was finished in 1928. It cost 5.5 million dollars to build and furnish. The mansion is open to the public daily and I also work in the gift shop. It’s a great place to see every day. He was also the 10th Governer of Oklahoma and a U.S. Congressman.
