I have noticed since Redbuble modified the Gallery to be called and displayed as Shop that my sales have gone up – almost doubling last months previous sales.
I think the main reason is the language and ‘direction’ given to the consumer – as at a Gallery anyone who wants to buy ‘artwork’ will consider it, scratch their heads etc – but when it’s called a shop, you know what you are doing there.
I think this overhaul has done RB a massive justice and I would love to see their behind the scenes stats to see if the sales are increasing across the board.

I’ve had a huge increase in sales since the site changes. I was expecting an increase in the run up to Christmas, but not to the extent that has resulted.

Yep – had certainly seen an increase (slowly ramping up) after quite a drop in views initially. Hopefully that’s put a smile on the dial of those who were ‘less-than’ enthusiastic about the site changes a little while ago :)

Nice to see, it is very hard to isolate the Christmas effect but we think the new site is increasing sales by ~10% overall (above what the normal impact would be). It will only improve from here as we have a lot of Search Engine Optimisation work to do.

Thanks for popping over and commenting Pilgrim, you guys have done an incredible job with such a strong community and then with a small (ok, it’s was a massive change on the back-end) change it made a bigger impact on sales – Hopefully that puts RB closer to being noticed by purchasers and designers much more, which will obviously result in more return for your hard work.

I doubt it is isolated to that. I had an increase from 1 shirt to 3 per day as soon as the site changes. But we will see what happens.

Massive increase in sales here too – I was really annoyed at certain aspects of the site like the featured section but overall I’m converted!!
