Jaguars are so strong and comfortable in trees that they often haul their kills on to the branches. By dragging the bodies of large animals aloft they hope to keep them safe from scavengers such as hyenas.

    I have to agree – to a point – with Diego Re.. this is a Jaguar but the family is Panthera onca. Jaguars are so much stockier than the leopards.. heavier bone structure and the “spots” contain a “spot” inside.. Still a great capture though.
