Newhaven Lighthouse
The old lighthouse in Newhaven Harbour, Edinburgh at sunset.
This image truly inspires me because it is taken from my favourite spot in the world – the harbour wall of Newhaven Harbour – at my favourite time of day, sunset. When the weather is nice, I like to come here with a bottle of rose, a fish supper or simply with my camera to enjoy the light, the fresh air and the bobbing of the boats in the water. When it’s cold and windy it’s perfect to get rid of a foul mood.
