Time for some clarinet cool, the instrument that most sounds like caramel to me of all the instruments in the orchestra.
The clarinet is displayed in all of it’s wonderful textural abilities on Prokofiev’s ‘Peter and the wolf,’ where it plays the cat.
The clarinet is also famous for its role in classical music and jazz.
Before I was introduced to the wondrous PENCIL and marvellous PAINTBRUSH, I was designing with people’s toothpaste when Mum took me visiting as a toddler.
Years later, I’m still designing, my interests criss-cross from illustration & graphics, ceramics & craft to stage & film design.
