My home is Norfolk and I live in the Tas valley close to the Tas river.
I started painting in about 2003 after my family gave me some art martial for Christmas which they thought would be a good new hobby for me. Since then it has taken over a good part of my life. I use the wonderful Broads, rivers and coast of Norfolk, Suffolk and Lincolnshire for inspiration. In looking for this inspiration I take a lot of photograph and use these for reference when painting. Just now and again one photograph will really stand out and I have decided to sell these as prints.

I have just started arranging and booking my 2010 exhibitions. After my disappointment at not being able to show my work at Blicking Hall after the exhibition was cancelled I have decided to arrange some of my own next year.
