*Here’s one from the vaults… I used to make up screenplays and stories for fictitious Hollywood films when I was a teenager.
Don’t ask me why, I just did.

I borrowed some of the title from a 1968 film about comboys battling dinosaurs however mine was set in 1933 about a plane load of English private school boys and girls whose plane crashes into a South American Jungle where there they encounter a strange race of humanoids who ride dinosaurs and keep them as beasts of burden or as pets.*

hehe I really like your sci-fi/fantasy mind….and pets seem appropriate to me.

    a great illustration x

  • Always been fascinated by Sci-Fi but not in a geeky nerdy Star Warzy way but more about it’s psychological overtones. I like combining the rational world in surrealistic settings. Cheers Giovanni :)))

John, you’re blowing my mind on this idea, concept, artistry! The idea of you as a young lad making up screenplays and stories for fictional Hollywood films isn’t a surprise! You should be doing it more often these days! The details, colours and lines are AMAZING! FASCINATING and OUTSTANDING!
    Cheers, Lisa =) XO

  • I was in my own little goldfish bowl concocting silly stories for fun. Now I have to live in the real world! Damn! Lol! Many thanks Lisa.

Reminds me of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Lost World. Your work belongs to a different realm and it is so utterly other worldly. Am I sounding too flowery? Annie Z xo

  • Very much so! The romance and intrigue of roaring twenties set among prehistoric creatures was such a juicy combination.

Interesting idea … if you still have your screenplays, you should send them in … who knows ….

  • They were pretty lame and laughable Cathy however some elements were interesting. Thank you for the recommendation.
