This is a portrait of my maternal great grandmother Vita Klesservich. She was the cousin to the Duke Of D’Aosta and third to King Victor Emmanuelle 11 of Italy.

  • Bev, she was an amazing beauty and a courageous woman who brought up 10 children after husband died during the war. She was about 17 here.

    Ladies like this could teach the girls of today a thing or 2 thats a fact they think the world owes them…..

  • They talk about woman being strong now, but I think back then they were even more so with their resilience and fortitude. The world owes us nothing and we have to earn its respect.
