This is a portrait of my maternal great grandmother Vita Klesservich. She was the cousin to the Duke Of D’Aosta and third to King Victor Emmanuelle 11 of Italy.
Ladies like this could teach the girls of today a thing or 2 thats a fact they think the world owes them…..
They talk about woman being strong now, but I think back then they were even more so with their resilience and fortitude. The world owes us nothing and we have to earn its respect.

Bev, she was an amazing beauty and a courageous woman who brought up 10 children after husband died during the war. She was about 17 here.
