A bit of 1930s Pulp Fiction. A book cover I did for a story I concocted back in the bad old days of the 1980s. I used to come up with these ridiculous stories just for the hell of it.

  • Hi Walt, This was inspired by the gangster flicks from 1930s and the film noir classics from the 1940s. I used to write stories for fun and draw up covers for them. :))

“bad old days of the 1980s”…….This piece is timeless

  • Hi Matthew, I used to love the 1970s and 1980s because nobody crossed their Ts and dotted their Is, if you know what I mean.
    It was great fun!

Excellent graphic depiction of gangland in the 30’s!!!
  • My favourite Gangster films were White Heat and Public Enemy with James Cagney and Jean Harlow.
