This series is really cool, great detail and movement. Very reminiscent of one of my favorite painters Bosch.

  • Thank you so much Ian, I think alot of artists grew up loving Bosch even though they have a hard time pronouncing or spelling his first name.

wow, fabulous, love the vintage/circus feel in your paintings….this one reminds me of j. Bosch

  • Thanks Petra, It does have a circus feel. I think a lot of artists grew up loving Bosch even though they have a hard time pronouncing or spelling his first name.

  • Hi Walt, two more 0s and I would quit my day job and do my art full time! :)

Wow john, i love the way you create these scenes and every character within them has some unique part within the whole, its like a circus of sin and chaos, but full of love for life and wonder. This is an excellent series. there is just so much to soak in.

  • Hi Daniel, thank you for your wonderful and engaging comments. I happens to be one big painting which I finished several years ago but I’m overdue for another adventure like this one only problem now is time and energy.
