a world we all inhabitbut only if we only knew?brilliant collage glues my attention
Thank you so much Charlie. I’m so glad you like it! :))
… I love this ICONIC construct … !
Thank you Kirrill. I was feeling alot of angst at the time I threw this together. JD
A scary James Woods if I am not mistaken. Very Terry Gilliam.Interesting work. The subjects fit together, and yet they dont and yet they do.
It’s funny when I put this one together it was totally random. Maybe subconsciously my mind was trying to convey a message. It’s a bit like when they ask the Beatles the meaning behind many of their lyrics and the answer is " whatever you want it to mean".
Excellent montage …………
Thank you Blamo. :))
..I like the allusion to the Easter island story and the reverse meaning of utopia … if I “READ” it right it is a strong political message which I also identify with :)
Even thought this was a totally random collage, subliminally it conveys my feelings about the world today. " Organised Chaos! " Somehow we can never really change the world and sometimes we just have to except it for what is! There will always be love, hate & war!! What do you think?
I see … that’s good .. I did not expect this was random … but that just shows that this is exactly what happens so often with randoms ….. I agree love, hate & war will perhaps always be here … what I read into it initially was the juxtaposition of opulence and power symbolism and then the Easter island ecological devastation story playing into it …. so …
Nice, thank you for watching my artworks. I use to due this type of art a while back. Looks fun. You can really find expression in this piece and symbolic.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I too dabbled in collage every now and again and I keep only one and it was this particular one. I won a prize for it in a art show about 15 years ago. ( showing some age here! lol )
