  • You mentioned that you were reading his life story. He used to love travelling down to Italy with Lord Douglas. His favourite haunts were by the seaside in places such as Taormina in Sicily and Portofino near Naples.

    John-such beautiful pen-work. A lovely romantic piece. There is a sensitivity here that really captures me-I can’t quite put it into words. It doesn’t hurt that I am a big Oscar Wilde fan!

  • Yes, me too Margot! I tried to convey the romance and passion of Oscar Wilde. I knew he loved the beach and the sea especially when he was in Italy with Lord Douglas.
