  • AQUALINA

    AQUALINA

This is such a beautiful work, but I find it slightly disturbing, its almost as if the bird has no place left to go, much of what his world has been is now but a memory and a reflection, and strange things are moving in!!!

There is a great sense of the empherial coming from the treatment of the tonal range from the light in the reflection and the clouds. The strange objects weight it down with their solidity and beautiful texture, but they cease to manage it and so float caught in the whole weightlessness of the work. Well done.

  • Diana Calvario replied

Thank you Aqualina for your interpretation! It is always interesting to listen or to read others people thoughts about your art. Highly appreciated indeed!!!

It’s beautiful.. can i know the idea behind this art piece? it’s very interesting..

  • Diana Calvario replied

Hi, the idea behind this art piece is that I was trying to show to my boy how you makeobjects disappear into infinity … than I showed to him how easily he could make a reflection in the water. The eagle was put there to give some movement to the whole and the title came like this :-)
