This local ‘Silver Princess’ (Eucalyptus Caesia) is once again flowering in mid-autumn adorning a suburban street with a range of silver and pink shine north-east of Melbourne, Australia. Eucalyptus refers to the small hard cap covering the flowering bud. Caesia means the bluish grey colour of the stem and bark. This natural beauty is inspiring me to learn using the macro facility of my Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. S 1/160, f/3.5, ISO 125, focal length 8.32.
