While gazing at the beautiful view across Dove Lake and the well known boat shed, I spotted this father and his sons sitting on Glacier Rock. To my surprise, I only noticed the ‘magpies logo’ on the boys’ t-shirt when I downloaded my photo. Any Australian Rule Football fans would know these boys are barracking for Collingwood, a team based in Melbourne. Shortly after this rest on the 2 hour Dove Lake circuit, these boys would have met our Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and his family walking the circuit in opposite directions. I was very curious to find out what reactions the walkers had meeting our Prime Minister on holidays and how they greeted him and his friendly family.
