Christmas scenes like this are so peaceful. A wonderful reminder of the Promised King and Savior who came to earth as a small baby to dwell among us and give us humans a tangible feel of the depths of God’s love.

Scene for this card requested by a very special friend, Ruthie Towers. Thanks for the motivation to paint this Ruthie!

Painting is a way for me to express the beauty I see around me. I am most content when I am outside and able to be experiencing the beautiful and peace in our world. This beauty also inspires me to illustrated Bible verses that have been so helpful to me as I travel through life. My desire is that others will find encouragement and hope through these paintings in my collection titled The Picture of Scripture. I believe God’s word never comes back empty.
