How pleasing it is to God when we just sing praises to Him, in tune or not! This was my father’s song that he would belt out on his morning drive to work. I never witnessed it, but he told me it was his way of turning his commute into a time of worship.
This wonderful song of worship was written by Reginald Heber, (1783-1826).
“Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty,
God in three persons, blessed Trinity!”
