Job, his story is widely known, such an amazing example of someone tested to the max and yet he had the strength and wisdom to still trust God in the midst of such horrible, trying circumstances.

I heard Nicole Mullen sing “My Redeemer Lives” the other day and I knew I had to paint something to just touch on the hope I have because of this wonderful truth. After all, it just boils down to Jesus Christ and who He said He was and is doesn’t it?

Painting is a way for me to express the beauty I see around me. I am most content when I am outside and able to be experiencing the beautiful and peace in our world. This beauty also inspires me to illustrated Bible verses that have been so helpful to me as I travel through life. My desire is that others will find encouragement and hope through these paintings in my collection titled The Picture of Scripture. I believe God’s word never comes back empty.

This simple verse holds so much truth and it blows me away as Job is the oldest book in the Bible and when he said this, there was no bible to read. He was the first one to mention his Redeemer, Christ. So how did he know this unless he actually spoke with God? It is such a revelation!!!

  • Thank you Vigor for your wonderful comment and fave. We are so blessed when we just take the time to reflect on our Redeemer. What an amazing life Job had, such trials and yet such faith! I agree, He could only have gotten his faith and assurance from God alone.

This is fabulous!!! Christ is truly flowing through your work. :D He truly is The Redeemer. I want to forever stand in amazement of what Jesus did on the cross. In addition, it is amazing to me how He can take our brokeness, redeem it, and use it for His glory. Everyone has a chance to have a comeback story. :D

  • Thank you for your encouraging words, it is wonderful to have such an amazing place to share your faith and hope. Grace is such a precious gift, I am thankful everyday for God’s gift and the sacrifice Jesus made. So pleased to meet you!
