The Tulip fields in Western Washington are so amazing to see each Spring; rows and rows of massive color for the eyes to feast on.

Watercolor 15 × 11, Arches 140# cold press. Daniel Smith/Windsor Newton watercolors.

Painting is a way for me to express the beauty I see around me. I am most content when I am outside and able to be experiencing the beautiful and peace in our world. This beauty also inspires me to illustrated Bible verses that have been so helpful to me as I travel through life. My desire is that others will find encouragement and hope through these paintings in my collection titled The Picture of Scripture. I believe God’s word never comes back empty.
