At first this verse may seem depressing but when we add God to the picture, we add hope, no matter what is going on!

Watercolor painted on 140 lb arches paper. Paints: Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton.

Painting is a way for me to express the beauty I see around me. I am most content when I am outside and able to be experiencing the beautiful and peace in our world. This beauty also inspires me to illustrated Bible verses that have been so helpful to me as I travel through life. My desire is that others will find encouragement and hope through these paintings in my collection titled The Picture of Scripture. I believe God’s word never comes back empty.

A wonderful rendition of a wonderful verse – love the clear painting. Had some difficult times the past year and this verse reflects my feelings.
