I can’t hear this verse without thinking of my wonderful mother. This verse was on the wall in our kitchen as I was growing up. She has now graduated to Heaven; but this was her daily theme of choice even as she dealt with serious health issues at age 99. What a wonderful way to start each day!

Painting is a way for me to express the beauty I see around me. I am most content when I am outside and able to be experiencing the beautiful and peace in our world. This beauty also inspires me to illustrated Bible verses that have been so helpful to me as I travel through life. My desire is that others will find encouragement and hope through these paintings in my collection titled The Picture of Scripture. I believe God’s word never comes back empty.
