Amish Girls on the Road by Diane Blastorah
I was excited to see these young Amish girls walking on the road where I had parked my car. They were going skating with their friends. Pulling a wooden sleigh with their skates covered by a woolen blanket I could hear their excitement. As they passed me, and the frozen pond was in view the small girl called out to her sister " I can see Emily, let’s run " :)
