It's Here Now! by Vickie Emms
…….the snow that is. Behind all that snow and trees stands my house that is usually seen from the end of my driveway. This may look black and white, but it is a color shot.
My two gateposts are lobster traps, one from Canada, one from the US, covered in Virgina Creeper in the summer. The straggly winter look is clearly visible here. This is very wet snow and you can see one long spindly birch hanging over the drive which when I walked back to it, after ample photos, I shook it off and it sprung right back to where it should be.

Thank you Kim. I thought I better get the shots before the wind blew it all off the trees. That was yesterday, we have had no wind, they still look like this :-))

A photo like this is so good for the soul when you are, as I am, at the start of what is forecast to be yet another scorching hot day in the high 30’s. Super shot Vickie, made all the better by it also telling us what it’s like where you live. I love it.
