…….the snow that is. Behind all that snow and trees stands my house that is usually seen from the end of my driveway. This may look black and white, but it is a color shot. My two gateposts are lobster traps, one from Canada, one from the US, covered in Virgina Creeper in the summer. The straggly winter look is clearly visible here. This is very wet snow and you can see one long spindly birch hanging over the drive which when I walked back to it, after ample photos, I shook it off and it sprung right back to where it should be. And then some Sis! What a great winter picture even if it is the end of February. Will be good moisture after the drought though I guess A fave :>)) Leslie
thank you sis. Yes this is what I complained about. When I said we got snow, I meant we got snow. Thank goodness it’s only a month till the first day of spring :-)) Then Vegas!!
Gorgeous Vickie – we just got a few inches this week, with more to come! There has been so little snow… Beautiful image – what a great lovely place!!! …and nice of you to save the birch!!! xx ~kim
Thank you Kim. I thought I better get the shots before the wind blew it all off the trees. That was yesterday, we have had no wind, they still look like this :-)) Glad you like my winter home. Hugs
A photo like this is so good for the soul when you are, as I am, at the start of what is forecast to be yet another scorching hot day in the high 30’s. Super shot Vickie, made all the better by it also telling us what it’s like where you live. I love it. Hugs Peter
Sweet! Hi Peter, thank you so much. So glad this cooled you off lol. It’s really been a very beautiful winter so far, this is not cold at all. The snow, although lots now as you can see, was only a skiff till Monday overnight. So nice to see you, enjoy your hot weather if you can Ginormous hugs.
I heard you got dumped on………………get out and get snapping lady :) Your property looks lovely!
I snapped and snapped and snapped some more that day. It’s almost still the same since we’ve had no wind, but Fred has blown snow now so the look is all spoiled. LOL Thanks for your visit

We got it, too! But it’ll probably be gone by evening…. Sooooo pretty, Vickie.
Three days later and it still is hanging in there Sheila. No wind yet. We need sun!
