Sis, WOW this is just a gorgeous bloom and I am soo jealous.It is still cooler here than there and although the peonies are budding there are no blooms yet. We brought the one you gave me from Regina and have planted it here in the bed at the back of the house. It is growing but we will not see blooms from it this year.:>)) Leslie

I remember this gorgeous flower from last year. Beautifully captured. I bet you would love it from macro lens too but your little Lumix did a very good job here.
yes that’s the one. this is from the first batch of blooms, just finishing. More will come yet. THe little Lumix is pretty good for macros, better than the 50D for sure at least with the lenses I have. I’m still aiming for the macro lens
