Taken looking down the Mistaya Valley from Bow Summit lookout. Bow Summit is 2069m/6787 ft. high. No wonder I puff when I go to view Peyto Lake!! There is a 500m ascent from the highway below to the parking lot at Peyto Lake viewpoint.
You can see the Icefield Parkway highway down in the valley, the brown looking line taking you past Waterfowl Lakes on the left. We camped at Waterfowl campground for a couple of days in July 2010. It’s so very beautiful all around you.
