Chameleon Tulips, which are about 2 feet tall are so named because they change color from a pale yellow to scarlet orange over time, from the moment the petals unfold. Taken in my spring garden.

So beautiful Vickie! Have never seen this before and it is gorgeous!

  • thanks Dottie, I’ve had this Tulip for quite some time and even dug them up once to redo the soil. They are starting over now, thank goodness most of them caught on. These are last years, still have snow on the flower beds here :-(

ooooo … yes I knew you were north of me … but thought maybe you lived in one of those mysterious banana belts or something!!!!! My tulip leaves are at about 3 to 4 inches out of the ground right now, the crocus are out and blooming (but the deer will eat them tonight, probably), and the daffies are at about 7 inches with the buds turning yellow. SOOOOON!!!!!! WHEEEE!!!!

  • I wanna be there!!!!!!!!!!! lol,,,,,,,,better get some photos in, I want to see them.
