UGG Invests $2.7 Million To Upgrade Beausejour Elevator
BEAUSEJOUR, MANITOBA—UGG today announced a $2.7 million expansion
of its grain handling facility in Beausejour, about 80 kilometres
east of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

UGG Beausejour effectively operates at full capacity, handling
over 50,000 tonnes of grain in each of the past three years. This
investment will double plant capacity by adding four aerated steel
bins to bring total grain storage to over 9,000 tonne. The
elevator distribution system and weighing system will be improved
to allow loading of 30 rail cars in under ten hours. The project
will also include grain drying equipment and a new office.

This is just fantastic, Vickie!! I love the low lighting!! Really adds character to the image!! The tones and texture all really compliment the image!! Great work Vickie!! Also the information.

  • thanks very much Blair, it was a rainy, dull day when I took this last week. Mild HDR set the tone, I just wish the copy/paste of the info had been straight, I wonder how to fix that. I went back to the art of the image and everything looked good, hmmmm

Great capture Vickie lots of detail here nice touch with the CP Rail Caboose just on the left of the frame very nice trains seem to give elevators a character of there own
    Cheers John

  • thank you John, I was wondering if the little yellow caboose would detract from the photo, but I guess it suits, glad you like it.
