Is everyone else seeing a big ugly bar across the bottom of your screen with advertising to either LIKE FACEBOOK or EMAIL DEALS on the other side? Do we need this garbage?
I am wondering if my Firefox screen is off kilter or is this something new? I know there were changes because I can see that on my FEEDS side with Manage Works Tab now.
This could be my end in here.

LOL! They screwed up challenge entries, removed access to our Profiles and Portfolios from our ‘MyBubble’ pages.
But they managed to fancy up their advertising.
Maybe we should all ‘Like’ them and then go over to Facebook and bitch to them there on how they’re screwing things up here. They certainly don’t pay any attention to us here.

you’re not kidding Gene. I mean I have to literally scroll the page now to keep that bar at the bottom of the view as I moderate? I don’t even want to moderate this morning, I am sick of this stuff.
I didn’t even get a chance to view my profile, so now I will go see what that’s about. What bugs me too, is where is any notes on this? Any agreements by members?

When does this become enough? Do they really want to lose us ALL? Why did they remove our profile access? Did it make it too easy for us? When do our opinions matter to them? I’m just about done as well.

We don’t really need all this stuff… Why don’t they just leave well alone? Grrr… They’ve done the same with entries for challenges, changed it and now it’s not working… Stop fiddling! Leave it alone… Annoys me when this happens x x x

I hate this bar too but I do have access to my profile from “My Bubble” so I don’t know if they were still working on it or what.
I think the bar to manage our files is easier for us actually but I have to go to moderating to see how that ugly bar works. Every day something new and what’s so good about Facebook that it has to be right in my face everytime I want to look at something.

My question is…. why does the gray bar not go away AFTER you click ‘Like’???? I have done my part for the corporate monster, NOW LEAVE ME ALONE! I think voicing our complaints and concerns on the FB page is a good idea. Make the general public (people considering joining RB) aware of their lack of response to members and maybe something will change.

Interestingly enough, I did not realize it was there on the Windows XP system and Explorer that I have on my computer. The bar is there but right at the very bottom and I simply tune out the advertising so it never dawned on me. I know there are other sites I call up that have the ugly bar and it is annoying. Perhaps this is a sign that this site is losing its appeal and this is an attempt to win over people, too bad it is more of a turn off.

Wow Leslie (Bluenorther), I just went in and there are a few challenges open right now and I checked, can’t enter an image. Something is really wrong here.
As for advertising for revenue generation, it is unfortunate that RedBubble has to resort to this, would have thought all the profits from us posting and buying more than we sell would be enough for them. I have no problem generally ignoring advertising stuff, except when it is totally detracting from the content. Yahoo Canada is bad for this, with ugly ads that pop up over top of everything that you see. Would hate to pack up and start again.

Leslie, I think there is a general problem putting ANY image into a challenge at the moment – a lot of traffic on the site about this problem.
Vickie I quite agree about that ugly banner at the bottom – I couldn’t care less about facebook – not on and don’t want to be – I don’t need it in my face all the time either
