What a gorgeous image Vickie! That snowfall just sets this off so well! ...Not to mention that beautiful whitetail buck!!!
Vickie Emms replied
I really had to go back some to find a buck. Most of my photos from summer are does, or bucks that are smaller. Glad you like it, I thought the snow was nice too. Thanks also for the favorite :-))

What a wonderful capture!!!!!! There have been deer in my backyard eating apples off our trees the past few evenings – I’d love to photograph them, however, it’s always just dark enough the photos don’t turn out. We have 8 inches of snow on the ground with the possibility of getting a foot more by Saturday!!!!! The deer are already looking for food anywhere they can. Anyway, this is a great find!!!!
Vickie Emms replied
oh my goodness poor things. We don’t even have that much snow! But boy is it cold, brrrrrrr. I know how you feel when they come around after dark, it’s a skill I haven’t mastered yet to photograph at night. Thanks for stopping by :-))
